>>9331720I'm re-reading Iron Man through that era too at the moment and in my memory Neo-Classic was always supposed to have the rounded shoulders as Bob Layton originally drew it, with the other style being an occasional error from a fill in artist . That other style though shows up way more often than I remembered, even sometimes when drawn by Layton himself.
I'd definitely still want the rounded shoulders, that's what I associate most with that armour but what I'd really like from a new Neo-Classic IM is swappable boots, so you can have it be early Layton style or how John Romita Jr. later drew it.
