Got a primer coat on the viper mk. VII. Going to add an aluminum base coat on top of it and do some pre-shading that will form a base that I can do some light chipping from using chipping fluid.
I've taken a lot of liberties with the accuracy of the kit itself, such as all the maneuvering thrusters I've added as well as cockpit which I couldn't find any good photos / renders of anyways. No idea what shade of metallic blue I'm going to paint for the main color either, just going to do with whatever I think looks good because getting an accurate color will be too much of a pain.
