Only reason they used so few units is because the other side didn't have shit to combat them properly.
If you're fighting on equal footing, not only do you need a full compliment of your platoon, but ALSO infantry support.
So there's either riflemen/anti-armor where these guys are going or they're somewhere off camera in Strykers or other armored vehicles.
The trucks visible here are part of the tank company, HQ and engineers.
