Batman under Kenner was great. They were also branching out a lot more, too. Kenner was definitely trying to ape McFarlane with the Legends lines and Total Justice. Then Hasbro took over . Thats when you get things like bright yellow Batmobiles.Hasbro just cranked out redecoes of BTAS figures for years since they had no faith in a comic Batman line, then horribly mismanaged the Beyond line, releasing only 3 villains, one of which was a fucking Joker head robot. Then they mismanaged the ROTJ line further just making it nothing more than some redecoes. None of the cool villain designs from the show got toys except Blight and the Jokerz leader. Hasbro deserved to lose that license.
