Hey folks, finally screwing around with my first plamo kits (full gallery here):

I'm up for it, but I'm used to painting miniatures with primer / drybrushing, which doesn't seem to translate as well to these things based on the posts I'm reading here. From checking the guide, handbrushing is definitely an option, but I figured I'd ask for any input that isn't quite so readily obvious before I potentially shit up these li'l bastards.
