>>10680373Thanks anon. I have since realized that with tweaks I might be able to get more range out of the pelvis, so I'm not going to throw in the towel just yet re: waist articulation. I'm tempted to try something a bit different with the pelvis assembly and make it a more solid piece that the HB balljoints plug into, rather than the traditional floating piece over the T-frame. If it works how I'm thinking it will, it should give better range and also be less fragile.
In the meantime I futzed with the prototype and managed to reconfigure the joints a bit, and I realize I'm actually a lot closer than I thought I was. I still need to make some changes, especially to the shoulder/neck area, and I think I need to "round off" the torso connection points to allow them to move more freely, but I think the proportions are a lot closer than I first thought.
