>>10940239>I thought he was fine, just unobtainable?I don't like the Bumblebee/Cliffjumper mold in general from ER; Cliff is the better of the two, but Bee's realistic volkswagen really doesn't do him any favors in bot mode; his body looks bloated because of how big the cab needs to be now. Plus, while many whine about the partsforming, I'm going to do so for a second reason: because it was unnecessary. That mold transforms arbitrarily differently than every previous G1 Bee attempt, for no reason other than the designer wanted to reinvent the wheel, and in doing so it required the back to partsform off. It's like, "congrats idiot, was it worth it?" Also the face is ugly imo.
>Honestly he's alright. Could have been better but he's fun enough.I disagree; he suffers from the same issue as ER Cliff/Bee but to a much worse extent, where his forced reinvention now results in his legs being utter garbage, his arms being tiny and pathetic, and his car looking like a squashed pancake. Not to mention how the canopy pieces no longer form under his arms, his shoulders being G1-style cubes, or his entire rear bumper just being missing for no reason whatsoever... Hot Shot's kibble really made his silhouette iconic, so this one just feels like a hollow gimping of something that should've been a braindead-easy smash dunk to get right. Also they took my boy's smile, which is despicable.
>Looks alright enough to me unless he has a crippling design flaw?Go look at the original TFA Deluxe, the Hydrodive TFA mold, or even the TFA Activator, and then examine it again. That thing is an ugly homonculus abomination that should never have been brought unto this Earthen plane, I'm convinced that the people saying "it's great!" are all under some voodoo gypsy spell.
