Finally unpacked the GM Sniper Custom! An anon was asking for a comparison to the Zaku Sniper a while back, so here is a belated attempt.

>>6937970>I'm not sure about CD Japan.If you preorder using a credit card, then CD Japan does not require any money up-front. Any other method though (ie Paypal), and I believe you do have to pay up-front. Just FYI, CD Japan runs a small temporary test charge when you preorder with a credit card (like 100 yen or something, it appears briefly on your card activity as a pending charge but then disappears without actually charging your card), and in my experience CD Japan would always contact me to tell me that my card had denied the charge. I'd have to call up my card servicer to allow the charge, then contact CD Japan to ask them to re-run the temporary charge.
A minor pain, but it always worked and CD Japan's customer service was always very responsive. Well worth the trouble for the times I used them to secure high demand preorders (VF-25S, VF-19 Advance etc.)
