>>10025326>>10025330>>10025370Hey don't misunderstand me, I don't care about wokeness and other stuff, I don't think that minidolls are offensive or degrading, if little girls like little barbie dolls, that's what they like. I agree that there is no such thing as "gender neutral" toy. You can't raise a boy in a way that at no point will it want a racecar or an airplane instead of a doll house or something.
So no need to go all "haha, you just mad cuz it confirms stereotypes". I'm not. I simply feel like it the themes themselves were missing before not the minidolls
>>10025368Scala wasn't a lego theme, Scala was almost whole different brand.
It was houses and horsestalls, it was basically a dollhouse that was more expensive than barbiedolls without offering anything interesting.
What I meant was that there were no actual colorful or fun lego themese before Friends, the last one was Paradise, so how would Lego know that it would've flopped without the minidoll?
Look at this set.
Are you really telling me that girls wouldn't want them if the 2 minidolls would've been minifigs? Where is the proof to that? Where is a colorful, imaginative, theme like this without minidolls that flopped?
