I got a Venom and Carnage AY yesterday. I can definitely see why some people were against the Venom; His torso is loose and his neck does have weird articulation with limited side to side and up, but tons of down for some reason. And I can definitely see why carnage is considered a more complete or well engineered figure. He's got a shit ton of accessories and a lot of options for how to use them.
But I gotta say that personally, I prefer Venom, at least so far. I love his sculpt in general and I feel like he basically always looks good no matter the position he's in. His design is also easy for me to understand. Meanwhile Carnage's entire lower body is an incomprehensible bowlegged mess of swivels and joints to me. I find it hard to make it look good in anything but a crouched or jumping position. Maybe its something I'll pick up with time.
Now that I've gotten my hands on an AY figure, I can understand the quality of them and kind of want more, even if the characters covered are not really my deal. Are there any that are stand out among them in terms of quality?
