>>10229549If there's any game franchise I dislike more then Fortnite it'd be CoD. But I'll be damned if I'm not excited for the idea of generic 1:18 modern military figures on toy shelves. Especially if they can pump out some affordable but decent vehicles to go with it.
....as long as they're not all ATVs. I swear, every 1:18 scale army men line comes with damn ATVs.
>>10229964If they're anything like their Halo line, I'll be happy. They don't have to be the best figures ever, just have to look good and have decent articulation. Though I do hope their guns are made better, the Halo weapons were all way too soft and rubbery and I can't think of one of em that didn't come warped in it's box.
>>10230254I agree for the most part that figures can work at different heights, like the Halo figures are fine as far as I'm concerned, and I actually like how big the Spartan's are compared to the basic infantry figures. Though the Star Wars VTC has figures that look like children compared to modern 1:18 stuff and I can't really work those guys in. Especially the troop builders like the Storm Troopers who are a head shorter then most other figures. It's a shame because they have some really nice figures and some decent troop builder sets, but everyone is way too tiny in that line.
I also agree the Fortnite figures, despite being great, are a hard line to mix in with other lines as well. The designs and overall toys themselves are fantastic, but the cartoony faces and proportions can really clash hard with stuff like MTF or ME Joes. I wish it were easier to headswap the Fortnite figures, but their neck pegs are all over the place.
Still, the masked figures can work just fine, and I love their generic civilian vehicles and their building block system.
