I've been suffering with frosting when spraying clear coats. I use Tamiya and Gunze acrylic and thinning them with alcohol. Now I've tried simple tap water and it makes all the difference in the world. No frosting, fast dry time, easier handling, more even coats, in short I was an idiot for sticking with the fancy-pants method of thinning with ethanol.
TL;DR: just use fucking tap water ya dummy
