Cleaning the floors takes more effort than changing that few cable.
Clean your shit up by buying something like 25 footers, so you're not beholden to the room and set them where they're out of the place.
Also, soundbars are shit.
Get yourself some real speakers. I bought these earth shakers for $100 each and using a $120 amp, just because they were cheap as fuck, for my computer room. Deals like this are found all the time, especially if you're okay with returns. Passive speakers will last a life time. Electronic shit like amps you only buy new, because they'll shit themselves randomly one day and a used one will shit itself even sooner. So your soundbar with its piss weak sound with intergrated amp? Temporary crap.
I have a proper 5.1 set up in my room complete with towers, because i thought you couldn't get low end with bookshelf speakers, until i bought these passive radiator monsters. Now i wish i had spent the extra $100 and bought the next step up, but i didn't because these 12x13x8 shakers can barely be mounted to a wall. The next step up are basically minitowers.
These guys basically feel like pre-90s speakers, back when it was normal to have drivers that were 12 inches or bigger.
Now I may just buy actual towers by the same company for my living room and not even think about buying a subwoofer.
