I won’t say he’s the all time greatest looking set (although he’s pretty up there), but he’s totally unique in G1 for his insane torso articulation. The shoulders and waist are all interconnected with 06 pistons such that you can actually move the shoulder joint itself to pretty extreme degrees. Same with the waist, it’s really the first and only time in G1 we ever got meaningful waist articulation (as opposed to 03 makuta’s...”gear function”). He’s less of a set and more of a walking experiment in total articulation, and there’s something about his poseability that you just can’t put down. If you’re looking to collect just a select few sets from the years you missed I would definitely put Maxilos high on your list.
