At first I was against the black series (but was a fan of the titanium series) but I...kinda digged the new version of darth vader despite the qc issues, kylo ren has always looked kinda badass (even with the base) and I missed out on the S.H figurarts captain phasma so after 10 mins of staring at 2 boxes (one had poor paint apps, the other's box is a tad fucked) I picked her up, I think this might do it for my black series collection (and with staff discount+$10 off voucher =bargain).
Especially with this...fan I encountered, I normally collect transformers and I know the fandom, this guy though, what the fuck.
>just glanced at toy section
>chad looking dude with what seemed to be daughter there with a big fat lardo at the star wars section
>They go away so the space is mine to browse freely
>Lardo out of no where comes back
>"Hay these are store exclusives"
>Proceeded to info dump me the release dates and shows the catagory list of the ENTIRE black series without being asked
>I just nod my head while browsing
>He turns around for a moment so I go look in another section
>Come back so I can browse in peace after 5 mins
>HE'S BACK
>"You know target sells the black series tie fighter with tie pilot as an exclusive you know"
>"You think that vader looks nice?"
>Getting sick of his shit so I finally respond
>"Yeah I'm gonna pose this clear headed vader next to my S.H figurarts vader which i have on pre-order"
>His face morphs from calm to depressed
>"Oh okay..."
>He finally fucks off on his own
This is the first time I didn't see $50+ for a black series in Australia and it will be the last, I guess I'm sticking to my far out suburb shops, I thought stupid kids ripping boxes open mid shop was bad but autist like this are worse than pushy shop attendants, wtf.
Though I fear I sound just as bad trying to recount my experience, amirite?
