I have encountered so many people new to painting at the local model kit store who bought expensive airbrush kit+compressor who are trying to return it because they dont know how to really use it, they cant get it right, they damaged it quickly, they didnt get the results they wanted, blah blah blah, etc etc etc.
I suggest you try to buy some model kit spray cans first and try painting with that first. sure it can get more expensive in the long run compared to buying an airbrush kit and quickly regretting it. build some confidence in painting first, the ins and out of painting and then if its really for you, then go buy an airbrush kit.
