Nostalgia is different for everyone, obviously depending on when you grew up. There isn't much reason or control over it, just vague emotions and personal tastes.
There is no personal preference with this guy. If someone likes something that he doesn't, that person has just deluded themselves to liking it according to subjectanon.
His tactics are similar to Anita Sarkessian:
"lots of people are enjoying thing? let me tell them why they are wrong to enjoy thing."
Meanwhile her own shitely supported opinions are put forward as fact, while the opposing view is represented as wrong, harmful, or sometimes even dangerous.
While subjectanon probably isn't an SJW, his tactics are the same, and let's be honest, SJW tactics are the worst part of SJW's.
