That'll get you the information even if you can't buy it through this means (though I suppose you could pretend that you had defects in yours and demand replacements).
Now I have run into sets where certain parts aren't listed under broken or missing pieces, but I believe that was an oversight. If it's a part in the set you should definitely be able to request it this way, which means they'll have the element and design numbers.
