>>5900882I quickly looked up Megatron's friend. It seems he's actually based on the Magnum .44 Microman gun-robo, which would be a stretch. That kind of retooling would really just require a whole new mold, I think.
And Browning also transforms into a different gun (A Browning, hurr), although much closer to a P38, it still wouldn't be as accurate as the MP line strives for. If that kind of ballpark approximation were allowed, they would have already made a Cliffjumper out of MP Bee.
So at this point, I'd say the only re-use we can count on is Microman P-38 Gun Robo.
