Though a bit different than other retailers, the guy who is running the shop is literally the unofficial salesperson for Hasbro in taiwan. He probably can order directly from Hasbro independent of the crowdfunding page.
And judging for the price (normally everything is like 30% higher in prices for any US toys here than in the US), he will only be ordering from hasbro if the 8000 is backed
