Lightning Collection figures had horrific QC, constant inaccuracies, inconsistent accessories, and inconsistent paint apps between members of the same team. The monster sub-line was overscaled which turned a lot of people off. The ZAP Zords were stupidly scaled to meaningless numbers from Sentai books resulting in one Megazord completely dwarfing another, and were covered with ugly greebles, in addition to people having breakage issues right out of he box. The Power Weapons were also given arbitrary greebles for no good reason. A kids line was almost nonexistent, not completing any set of Zords, and making very few basic figures compared to Bandai's yearly output. The helmets were the only thing they actually did competently, yet even then they failed to release the most popular one.
