Asking for second opinion, after posting on /tg/ - anyone here tried before making hair for models with stuff like polypropylene or flax rope? I want to make twin braids and since my sclupting skills are poor, I tried using rope instead but it could be bad idea to how it could be problematic to paint it now. /tg/ suggested cooper wire instead but I wanted to hear your opinion too.
Another problem is how such hair could stick out of other, plastic hair parts.
