I was in absolute love from the moment that page came out on The Takara website. This was the toy to end all toys.
But despite everything it was shown to do and all the things it could do they failed to show off the lack of inclusiveness of even the official modes.
With Battles everything always had something smart to do. Not ALL the accessories since he had all extra gun bits etc, but whichever you picked was always there as was the bike it came with. In this way, BP fails. If you don't get the extras set to go with him then sure, just stick the cockpits of the trucks in themselves but that only solves the problems for some modes unless you change them up a bit to accommodate, otherwise you're left putting those cockpits off to the side. But who wants Big Powered to be a big EMPTY base that can barely staff itself and has no bikes for the little guys like Battles? So of course you get the extra set, but then you realise the only place for the bikes to go is inside the trucks and most of the trucks modes and combinations besides bog standard single trailer or splayed-out base are already trying to fit either their own cockpits or the entire front track set inside the trailer [or BOTH] in some way. And then there's nowhere for the bikes to go. Not only that but, when most of the components really feel like something proper, the hip/thigh section really feels sort of out of place. The overall playability gets knocked down even further by small things, like no god locking position for the fingers and hand to hold their 'gun' formation for most of the modes so you're just keeping a balljoint and several hinges aligned with friction and positioning, and other finicky bits like that.
To summarise, while Big Powered is big and cool and can be fun, engineering wise he feels so much less thought-out than Diabattles, and after getting fucked on the customs for him knocking him up to £300 almost, I really feel like he was a letdown and will likely sell him eventually.
