A kinda annoying point in construction: the outer side of the intakes have to be pre-shaded and painted now, before the gear-well assembly is installed, and the fuselage halves glued together, because there's no way I could paint behind the main gear.
On the Hobby Boss Tomcat the main gear strut needs to be glued in as the gear well walls are being assembled. I COULD file off and alignment pin so that the gear could go in after painting, but at a 1:48 chungus like this I'd rather have strong attachment for the landing gears.
