Its strange because other sublines like Macross are amazingly engineered(even if they're basically redlining and improving Yamato engineering), but SoC has taken to rereleasing 20 year old toys instead of updating them. Sentinel became the gold standard for modern mecha figures(besides some QC issues);companies/lines like Pose+ or Blitzway are emerging as competitors. Their mecha choices have also been less exciting than other companies, imo. They've been more experimental these last 10 years, sure, but at the same time other companies are doing more.
Threezero has taken to waiting for other companies to release their version, then do their own improved version for cheaper.
