They may not be as bad as what BoA was doing, but Hasbro's figures are still exaggerated. In the show the difference between the guys and girls is subtle enough that they could get away with gender bending, but the figures are very blatantly male and female. Look at the Psychos, the genders are pretty indistinguishable, but the figures needed a seperate female mold, because the other one was too overtly male.
