>>7180413>>7180281>>7180393Its a small (in terms of available kits) scale, but its not like there is nothing to build.
Tamiya alone has almost 100 kits in that scale, most of them are armor and wheeled vehicles with only a couple of infantry sets in between.
Other companies did kits in 1/48 as well, Bronco, Italeri (Tamiya reboxed some of their stuff) and ICM (Sdkfz 222 series, Tamiya reboxed the 222) are the best ones after Tamiya. Hobby Boss has great kits too.
There are several eastern european companies doing 48 kits as well, UM, Ace and Mikro Mir but their quality is somewhat lacking compared with Tamiya, but with a bit of work (and some putty) they built up nicely as well.
Then there is Gaso.Line, a company who has hundreds of resin kits (and conversion kits for existing plastic kits) in 1/48 of excellent quality.
Several other companies do resin vehicle kits as well, but i have no experience with them yet.
For me 1/48 is the perfect compromise between size and detail (as well as price, since most Tamiya kits can be found on ebay for around 15-20€).
