>>6059706This is the second time this year I've been blown away by a Robot Damashii release. The ANIME RX-78-2 knocked me sideways with its matte finish, astonishing levels of articulation and smart, minor innovations on existing engineering ideas.
This figure though? This is a game-changer in my opinion. No bigger than the average RD but it's packing a level of detail, finesse, innovation and quality that outstrips far larger, more expensive mech toys.
I am genuinely amazed by this thing, it far exceeded my hopes and expectations. I'll gladly put up with Bandai's shit making the other units web exclusives if they can keep up this standard.
Apologies for the massive image dump, as someone with a burning love of Patlabor who's been starved of good merchandise for a long, long time I'm way too excited about this thing.
