>>6428424You can see here that the Shazam on the right is the original, and the replacement is on the left. The emblem is the problem on both figures. On the original, the emblem came with a lot of frayed edges and was peeling off to the point that I can get the end of my finger fairly far under the top left corner. Mezco offered to replace the figure for free (I didn't see a return label, so I've asked what the next course of action will be). The replacement figure has a different problem in that when it was applied, the fabric might not have been even, so the top right corner of the emblem is warped and the fabric under it is slightly bunched. This might be fixable with a little head to loosen the glue, but I'm not sure.
Overall, the replacement Shazam has better construction on the suit and cape. Even the body has a better feel to the joints. The paint apps on the smiling head are even better than my old one, though the standard head has some slight black smudging on the chin. I'm pretty happy with the replacement, but I've packed it back into its box until I hear back from Mezco Customer Service.
