The comics have Miles in the ultimate universe, but Peter still exists in the main universe. And Peter came back in the ultimate universe.
Spiderverse has Miles, but there were also three Peter’s in the movie.
The game has Miles, but Peter’s still around.
Both most recent Spidey cartoons have had Miles in some capacity, but Peter never died.
And the MCU movies have yet to feature Miles in any capacity.
But that’s what these pearl clutchers do. Miles exists to supplement Peter, same as all the Scarlet Spiders and Spider Women. But because he’s black, he scares the fragile nerds who aren’t actually facing any persecution.
