>>8129911>How do you have so manyI buy them when they go up for Pre-order. The Legion Builders are especially affordable and worth it with all the gear they come with. They also work super well with other similarly sized lines from years past like the fantastic Toybiz LotR line.
>Do you display them?Yes, or at least I did pre-renovation of my toy room.
>Are they taking up 40 shelvesPre-renovation they only took up three, but mostly because I mix them with other lines and I like to give my figures room to pose and be visible. Post renovation they should only take up two shelves as I've gotten much longer wall mounted ones instead of the crappy department store bookshelves.
Sadly I don't have any good pics of my Arethyr army or my full group of Heroes, but I do have my most recent Skeleton Horde pic! Eventually I'll get the Storm Collectables Golden Axe Skeletons in hand to add to their numbers, which will work much better then the tiny, loose Revol ones.
>are they just permanently on your coffee tableI usually have one or two on my coffee table. They just feel good in my hand, with a nice solid heft to em. They're also really poseable so I can just fiddle with em for hours, mixing and matching different gear I salvaged from other toylines trying to find a good set up for em.
As for the last comment. I find these guys much more fun to mess with then my 1:18 toys (which I have hundreds of, from multiple different lines). They also look better on a shelf and command more attention per character due to their size and how much each one stands out. There's also a wide variety of similarly scaled lines in which to steal gear from to add to their variety. I even stole the legs from one of the 4H Ravens to put on my Vamp Legion builder to turn her into a snow harpy and she looks absolutely fantastic. I'm glad they went with the larger scale, as these guys wouldn't be nearly as fun or good looking at 4" tall.
