>>7422149No, don't paint while assembled either. Do it piece by piece. Get some alligator clips on sticks (they're pretty cheap), clamp them onto a single part at a time, and stick them into a piece of foam or some stacked corrugated cardboard for painting.
I have crazy shaky hands too due to an anxiety disorder, and this works out pretty decently for me. If you can paint on a sprue, you can probably paint on an alligator clip too.
