>>11223743This was a little earlier in the battle; the right flank of the Rebel assault did make the most progress, having driven the Union defenders back from the fence to a second defensive line just in front of the artillery. A few men were able to get over the fence, right before being torn apart by Yankee reserves pouring into them.
I neglected to get much of that side of the battlefield, it was a bit chilly, starting to get late and seemed to threaten rain by the end.
