The thing that pisses me off about Lego Dimensions is that the abilities on the upgrade trees for some vehicles tend to overlap, leading to a lack of uniqueness, making Gold Bricks feel wasted when spent on new models.
Granted, this is probably because the devs didn't want people to complain about the vehicle system: If there were too many vehicles/gadgets with exclusive abilities, people would complain about having to get more kits to unlock everything. But if all the gadgets had the same abilities, getting new kits would just be a waste of money.
