Suddenly the Toa have this mcguffin that's explicitly linked to their elemental powers, and they now have this huge weakness that can be exploited by anything able to find where their respective symbol is located. Honestly, the transition from 02 to 03 was such a migraine in a lot of ways. Rahkshi and Takanuva were fine, ut the whole introduction of the Nuva and Kal was such a clusterfuck.
