Just finished putting this lab together. Fun little set. A bit overpriced at 174 pieces for MSRP $19.99 but if you can find it for $16 at walmart it's not terrible and to be fair there are a few large pieces like the 6x6 panel and the 4x6 curved panel.
I got this set because it had a lot of appealing pieces, and in putting it together I can see myself using almost every piece for my megacity, so it's a win-win. Lots and lots of cool parts, including chromed 1x2 grates, chromed technic balls, QWERTY keyboard, pizza, potion bottle, and silver wrench. There are also several Trans-Bright Green pieces which glow under UV light.
You may have noticed that the lab is missing a piece because there's no 2x2 round plate with single stud on the rightmost liquid container. When I got to that step I looked all around and got a little paranoid because I had poured all the pieces into a small area and double-checked each bag to make sure there were no parts left inside. Forced to confront the possibility that my set was missing a piece, I continued on.
As I got closer to the end, I started to wonder where the heck this window insert was going to be used. Then I got to the last page, checked the inventory, and saw that there was no black window insert in the set inventory.
Has anyone else ever had this experience of getting a part that doesn't belong in that set?
