>>7348167>Does anyone else feel dried up?Personally no, because I don't collect the junk they put out today. I enjoy collecting past dolls that I was never able to own. I don't enjoy paying second hand ebay prices, but I'll buy one at least once a month.
>The fashion doll market became so stale and dullWell, if you like Disney dolls there are a lot of dolls coming up this year. There's a live action Aladdin movie that will probably have a crapy doll line, and there's D23. As mentioned before there's no point in getting hyped for D23 dolls unless you are willing to pay scalpers hundreds if not thousands of dollars per doll, or unless you are willing to spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to attend D23, and buy the pricy dolls while there.
There might be some Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, and Princess Frog anniversary dolls. Collectors were hoping that Disney Store would re-release that Vanessa doll again, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I bought the set off of ebay a little over a year ago because I knew the sets price would go up as we got closer to the films 30th anniversary. Once a film became fashionable on instagram and there's hype around it prices go up, and I wasn't wrong.
