I think the reason why 90s Star Trek and Star Wars figures are so abundant is because there was enough adults who bought 1 to open and 1 to keep just in case, so when the time came to sell off their extras, there was no one to sell to, because everyone already had them.
Turtle figures are more expansive, because it was mostly kids who got them to open and play with. Would be nice if Playmates did with TMNT what Mattel is doing with MOTU Origins.
