Shrugging and going, "Well something is better than nothing" is how we got to this point. We're seeing the result of strategies DC started spamming when New52 died, when they stopped publicly reporting sales numbers, and when they realized the only thing keeping them on life support is gimmick events.
Now we're in the realm of DC being a boomer franchise only middle-aged collectors care about and prices are being adjusted accordingly. We're Star Wars and Indiana Jones now.
