Remember zimmerit is about 5 maybe 10mm thick. It’s also important to note zimmerit usually has lines that aren’t part of the pattern it’s self but from having to move the tools used in applying the pattern resulting in the pattern being less then perfectly straight. Finally it’s important to remember zimmerit can be a bitch to do and practice and watching/reading tutorials will definitely help in the long run (Andy’s hobby-head quarters has several good videos on zimmerit application).
