I think this is a recast of the original runners. The details are not as sharp and there are lot of surface imperfections. Nothing kill the figure thoug.
I guess this is OK for some thing only $10 (oh god I can't believe American used to pay only 10 for hasbro Deluxe figures)
Joints wise, most are tight enough the loose ones are the left shoulder and the ball jointed feet and their heels. The loose heels make it very hard to stand. I am not sure whether the original GT has the same problem or not.
