>>8207378This came after the attempt of a RD subline called RD TRI, and everything about the PR2 bots were the same as TRI. I think they thought the new name would be confusing so they dropped it, but they also lost that excuse of "this is a budget ver of RD called...oh..." Knights and Magic were TRI, and Franxx were essentially TRI tier like PR2. The idea clearly was to give smaller IP's a chance with a lower budget. A concept I fully endorse btw, so we're not just getting the same 5 mega IP's or pay insane niche tax for the minor shit. Plamo and sometimes NXEDGE supplement this role now.
Biggest mistake was to pretend they could know what will be a hit or not. Matching release with a movie or show is a terrible gamble.
