>>9516449The fact of the matter is that they shouldn't need to be replaced. I 'can' heal my bones if they break, but I shouldn't break them in the first place, you know? I'm of the opinion that any joint that can be broken by way of basic operation, is a bad joint. Granted, you can argue that any joint can be broken through basic use, but the vast majority of joints across countless brands and releases are less inclined to total failure, in my experience. The peg & ratchet combo is a fine idea, don't get me wrong. But in execution, it's a demonstrably weak joint. It's why I personally enjoy the Robot Damashii figures when it comes to things like Evas. They're so good that the RG Eva kits basically copy them in places. (The hips barrel joint in the RG is inspired, but very flawed imo, I've glued all of them to get better results.)
