Say what you will about these figures, but I'll be damned if they aren't some sturdily made toys. I don't know why, maybe it's the changing weather, or my AC being on too high or my house being haunted by ghosts, but for the past few weeks my Legions have all been diving off my shelves. I'd come home from work or whatever, walk into my toy room and find Gryshaa, who's been in a fairly precarious pose since the first batch of KS figures shipped, lying in the middle of my hard wood floor after a good five foot drop. My Gorgo toppled over, taking out two goblins and an Orc, who tumbled down and apparently hit multiple shelves on the way down according to the scattered arrows from one of the goblins. My Knight Builder II staged dove into my solid army trunk full of Nerf guns before getting stuck between it and a box. And just five minutes ago I walk in and find my Mandibulus, who's been sturdy as a damn rock since I got him, just standing on my floor. Apparently he fell from my shelf and landed on his feet.
But despite all these various suicide (and homicide, in Gorgo's case) attempts, not a single figure had any broken parts, pieces or accessories. I've had Transformers and Figma and Revoltech and so forth snap into pieces with far less impact. But these Legions are built so tough they're practically leaving dents on my floor.
>>7612676>G-Con will be on Friday July 26thOn the upside, I'll be back from SDCC that day. On the downside, I'll be at work at that time. They better not offer another "first hour surprise TBA freebie" crap, especially after how lame the last one was (and I actually like the Mace, it's perfect for Gorgo). Guess I'll try to limit my spending a bit more then anticipated when I'm at Comic-con though. Or just not eat that weekend.
>>7613114They mentioned way back they wanted to do different sets, and planned to sell both Rider and Horse on their own or bundled together. But we'll see if they stick to that or not.
