I'm not really sure what you mean about Casey's hips, they seem to work fine for me, just like any other swivel-hinge hips. I don't see anything special or abnormal about them. The waist sculpt "issue" isn't really a thing for me either. I think they probably could have handled it more cleanly, with an overlapping waistband to hide the bottom of the torso, but I frankly don't find it bothersome or noticeable in the first place. I probably wouldn't even have noticed it or flagged it as an "issue" if people hadn't complained already. I might be a bit biased because Casey was one of the figures I never managed to find as a kid, so just getting this figure feels a bit cathartic to me, but I'm pretty happy with it overall.
