>>8429426I'm currently using 1/16 and 1/32 inch prismatic glitter flakes, glued and coated with clear acrylic paint. It's quite tedious and can be messy. There's some stray glitter on my table if you zoom in.
I was using premixed, metallic glitter glue you find at stationery shops previously, but the effect isn't close to the show or toys. I couldn't find versions of the glue with prismatic flakes though, so I had to use above method with regular unmixed flakes.
I've also seen some others cutting prismatic paper to size and inserting them behind the clear plastic. That is tedious too but in a different way.
