>>7716420Guess one of mine was from around the time I started collecting the Pyrate sets. Honest to god you'll never again see such a detailed set of pirate ships capable of having a full crew manning it with actual operational cannons and other various pieces.
Specifically my fondest memory involving this collection was from when my dad managed to get me the skeleton ship to accompany my pirate ship. The skeleton ship itself is massive and while I had been collecting several skellies from bags, the ship for all of them to go on was what I wanted the most. Anyway, at the time the company my dad was working with did these yearly toy giveaways at christmas so one of the years he surprised me with the ghost ship. To this date it's honestly my fondest memory ever relating to toys, because of how much I wanted the set and how my dad went out of his way to get it for me knowing how important it was.
Mind you at the time I was also collecting Dragons sets (I still have my huge ass collection of them, planning to build a set and take pics for the thread soon) so next year he also got me this really nice fortress set but I'll seriously never forget my skelly ship present.
