There is zero reason to try to do some overly complex shit like pants that move and flex around the cutouts, that's a crazy idea. The thigh will just be one solid piece of plastic that has the appearance of a cutout.
Things get real stupid real fast when people try for slavish accuracy at the expense of good articulation or engineering. Keep it simple.
