Old pic but it has been sitting like this for a while, sealed up in satin and waiting for washes and stuff. I guess today I'll do that and then think if I want to continue with other weathering I wanted to experiment on it or put the rigging and move on as it has been a really sluggish build, not because of real workload on it but absolute laziness and I want to really start the bismarck after this ship test build
>>7892865Oil work is impossible to get wrong unless you're actively working against it, if your objective is only surface enrichment it's okayish but if you want to modulate you need to rework it quite a bit.
As for the thinners ak/502 (same company), mig, etc are okay but don't offer anything better than average quality white spirits at an unreasonably high price. I didn't know better when I got again into the hobby so I got one ak regular white spirits and one ammo odorless bottle but quickly bought this

I think you could find any similar equivalent wherever you live as the only thing I looked for was a 1l bottle and odorless and this was the only one back then so the bar isn't exactly high
