There are more Hatsune Miku variants than any other character, it is GSC's ultimate cashcow IP because Hatsune Miku is ubiquitous to the point more people know about her than the concept of vocaloid. Every year there is a racing and snow miku, and when there is a concert or featured artwork, there will be a nendoroid of that as well.
I don't know why this prototype version of Yuzuki Yukari was scrapped but I for one welcome vocaloid nendoroids that are not another Hatsune miku derivative.
